HOW TO OBEY YOUR THIRST IN 2024?
To reintroduce Sprite’s iconic Obey Your Thirst we created two films featuring two athletes who embody this cultural ethos: rising NBA star Anthony Edwards and the world’s fastest woman and Sprite’s first female athlete partner: Sha’Carri Richardson.
Both athletes are known for channeling their self-confidence and unapologetic authenticity in their relentless pursuits of excellence —both on and off the court/track—through the intersection of hip-hop culture, sports, entertainment and fashion.
The first film pays tribute to the original campaign, Anthony Edwards takes on Grant Hill's 1994 spot, alongside Hill himself, humorously nodding to the anti-advertising ethos that famously made Sprite a counter-culture cultural brand.
In the second film Sha'Carri Richardson reinterprets Obey Your Thirst for today's generation, showcasing how she stays true to herself and defies societal expectations, with a special cameo from her mother and grandmother.
SPRITE CHILL
Before the reintroduction of Obey Your Thirst, we helped Sprite release a new ice-cold thirst-quenching flavor: Sprite Chill.
Introducing: The Coldest-est in the Game
Sprite Chill has a cooling sensation that makes it the coldest Sprite ever, and calls into question every “coldest” we thought we knew.
In this film, Sprite Chill takes on Ice Trae for the title of “Coldest-est in The Game”.
